I have recently started a new hobby and thought I would offer my services to like-minded american car hobbyists.
I am offering, at a reduced cost of £10 (so not to make a profit) your pictures on canvases.
At the moment I can offer two sizes - 10" x 8" or 8" x 8".
All I need from you is the following:
- a picture (it can be of anything and doesn't have to be of your car!) preferably by email (although I am just about to try and do one from an actual print)
- the size you require (from sizes above). Hopefully after my holiday I will be purchasing a bigger printer so may be able to do bigger.
- payment of the £10 which will include postage (within the UK). Outside of the UK will incur an additional fee but this is to be decided.
- the address of where to send it.
That is all I require. I will then get the canvas to you within 1 week of order and on receipt, if you are dissatisfied with the canvas - you can return it to me for a refund of your £10 - but hopefully that will never happen.
I have produced a couple so far and I will put a picture up on here of the finished article when I get home.
I hope to do many a canvas for you all and if you have any questions please pm me.
Made a start on clearing out the garage of unwanted parts today. Came across some pistons that I acquired when I bought my 91 3.1 v6 Camaro a few years back which is long gone
The name on the box is Clevite Engine Parts and the part number is 9-1496 which we have found is now part number 224-2757. The other number which may be of interest is the 0.5mm (which I assume is the oversize number). They fit other vehicles such as Chevy Cavalier, Beretta, Grand Prix, Cutlass, Buick Regal, Firebird.
I have no idea what these are worth so if anyone is interested please make me an offer - funds will be going to a good cause - our spending money in the USA in 8 weeks
She's a 100% pure pedigree Birman and when we pick her up we will get all her papers.
Apparently though she's not quite show quality (her front white socks aren't big enough!). But hey - are we bothered....... Nope not one bit!
Still trying to decide whether to let her have some kittens of her own when she's old enough - the thought of £450 per sale is extremely tempting but not sure if we could go through the stresses and strains of it or even let her go through it - we shall see
Further to one of my last posts saying we had lost our little girl - we have decided that we have way too much love not to give it to another little kitty so .......... meet Banshee
She is currently 9.5 weeks old and we pick her up in two
Re: poly mount - yes vibration can increase with use of a poly mount however they do tend to "break in" according to USA contacts and on an auto (apparently) can help make the shifts more firm.
With regards the reserve - just £50!
Not looking to rip anyone off - just want to recoup a little bit of £££'s (and empty the garage slightly!!
This is not the stock stamped steel factory piece, but the tubular single adjustable UMI Performance panhard bar. It has polyurethane on the chassis end with UMI's roto joint for the axle end.
If you have lowered your f-body, you should have this to re-centre the axle in the car.
Bought approx two years ago and has only covered a maximum of 1500 miles (if that!) It is in as new condition. Both the polyurethane and roto joint ends have been regularly greased with poly marine grease and show no signs of wear.
(1) round trip around Florida (twice!) (2) California/Nevada, (3) Wyoming/Colorado/Utah/South Dakota, (4) NYC/Niagara/Ohio (for trans am nats)/Washington (5) Route 66 from Chicago to LA
Since my disaster with my caliper collapsing a few months back - we decided to take the car off the road and give her a bit of an engine rebuild.
Here is a link to a small photo history with a small video towards the end which was taken today after we had finished and started her up again for the first time.
To say I am a happy bunny is an understatement and she sounds and runs sooooo much better than before.
Enjoy!
