Surprisingly I found my 4.0L one sluggish
The TD is agricultural being an old indirect design, but as long as you let the gears do the work it chugs along and has loads of torque. The turbo is great for over-taking in 5th gear from 40 and accelerate to 70/75.
I know for the commuting I'm doing it would be a better idea to have a Diesel Mondeo for fuel econonmy, but I like the Cherokee and the MPG isn't that far different from the petrol Mondeo, so as long as it works, I'll use it.
I've never driven the 4L petrol so can't really compare.

Whats special about the Orvis edition?
Fatter spoke alloy wheels that are wider and bigger, front spot-lights integrated into the bumper and heated mirrors I think. (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/chiny.gif)

Added an 'official' boot cover with the adjustable hooks, correct for the model year, curtsy of JamesH on Jeep-Club :bravo:
More copying and pasting. (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/nono.gif)
It just makes me feel less special . . . . (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/sad.gif)

Seem to recall they were bright white ones
Hmm I think I'll leave them dude. I only replaced the headlight bulbs last year, so hopefully hey should be good for a while.
Thanks anyway (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/thumbsup.gif)

Some people don't understand why I am not into small sports cars, but today the Cherokee reinforced my interest in big, useful vehicles.

Heres what I'm talking about.
Yup, we are talking about the same thing.
Still no idea how you got a jubilee clip on though as there doesn't seem like there would be enough space between the injector and the pipe! (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/huh.gif)

finding another one in a local scrap-yard with mud-guards.
Jeeze the Environmental Police obviously have made it out into the sticks yet (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/dontknow.gif)
There are no traditional scrap yards with rows of cars left in Bedfordshire now, if your lucky you might find a parts recycling centre, but you pay through the nose (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/down.gif)

Yep, the ones I called around me were exactly that. You go to a counter to buy the item which they have just torn from the vehicle and charge almost as much as a new part.

This yard was in the Fens.

Good work there CP. That grip tape idea is a treat!
Quoting: Roadkill
What a brilliant idea re the grip tape.
Looks good. It's nice quick, little projects like these that can really pick you up and re-motivate you when battling a long-term build.
Yah the tape really suits 'utility' vehicles. I don't think it would work for other car-types as much.

but on the mondys you can get chrome strips that go along there to add some bling factor!

Narp.
Do you know any good lanes near Northampton? (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/dontknow.gif)
Being my daily and not wanting to break anything, I would not want to be rock-crawling or mud-bogging but a little mud and some sliding is all good! (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/mooncar.gif)
