What do you reckon the feasibility would be of Buying this Car:

And Basically Taking some of the Bits off Mine that I have replaced over the Last year (Mainly the 700R4 Gearbox) & swapping them over. Then selling my Current car.

Obviously this would require a VERY close inspection of the car above to essentially make sure it wasn't a complete turd...

Would take some work but not a huge amount, the only bit I reckon i'd need help with would be changing the Gearboxes Over...

If your gonna spend money on a car get one you really want.....unless of course a third gen is what you really want but I don't get that impression.

If you cant afford what you want yet, run the Camaro as it is untill you can....

This post is in no way dissing 3rd gens or suggesting a 3rd gen isnt a good long term car, or that anyone wouldn't want one as a long term car. I just get the impression, from other threads, Ryan is looking for something different. I could be way off base

Potentially but I'd have to see the car obviously. The 2 things I've mentioned above would be the only 2 Major Jobs (Exhaust would have to be done by a shop obvously) but this car looks very straight from the pics, I have asked for interior shots too.

I don't think this is that Mad an idea...

I like the 3rd gen as a Daily and TBH its daily friendly is (realistically) going to be my only yank for a while because of that. Yes I would like a Monte too but if I eventually get one it will be a summer & show car only.

This one is that bit newer, still a 5ltr & has some nice extra options than mine, like fogs, which make it nicer as a daily. If I can get ip there to look at it & its straight I can see myself getting it & going with aspects of this plan...

Just spoke to GM automatics to speculatively see what they'd want to swap the boxes over... £200 per car...

so thats not going to happen then!

Still on 74000 miles the box should be fine though... I'm still interested...
