Picked up my new Astro yesterday evening.

70,000 miles, Starcraft Brougham thingy.

Drove it back nicely, 60mph on cruise control. Lovely.

Straight swap for the Navara.

Could be tidier, could be worse, the Navara was no oil painting.

Won't take much, couple of hundred quid and it would be back to original.... Only bit it really wants is the rear bumper cover, cheap from Rock Auto

No idea, sadly it's had a couple of owners recently, it now needs some live and time to get it back up to shape.
I love the exhaust, suits the sound as it sounds a little rumbly

I do like Astro vans, a much better buy than those horrible imported Lucida toyota things you see everywhere.  Real nice lines.
Starcraft are meant to be one of the better conversion peeps I think?

a good Astro is a really excellent ride, so smooth and quiet. i'd personally rip the exhaust off and put a stock one back on - a luxuary vehicle should be silent unless its got sporting pedigree (AMG Merc, Audi RS, BMW M, Maserati Quattroporte etc)

lets face it, the only 'sport' you'd ever associate with an Astro is probably an eating contest.... long distance cruiser par excellence though.

I'm going to replace the bumper cover, then see how pretuding the exhaust is, it isn't loud, it just burbles. But I am like you Phil, I like original

Need to replace the TV, anyone have any ideas? I believe it's a 9"

I'm thinking a 12"flatscreen bolted over the hole?
