take one ni$$an with 90s alpine cd,minidisc player, that cant pick up all uk stations
remove, replace with more powerfull cheap ,£30, mp3 jobby,

how hard can it be......

before.... the old stuff, i was really gonna leave this alone!
until i had a hire car in spain with i-pod connector,

remove the ice pod, all good fun without a manual..

how many wires can there be....

solder relevant wires and heatshrink,

to find which wires run to which speakers, place each pair across, a 1.5v batt and the relevant speaker will buzz....

the connectors in to the units are the same......BUT the pinout is different....

3.5 jack ran into centre consol area, so ipod can be in there out of the way..

nearly finished, needs a box fitting below to fill the remaining gap..

Niiiice job considering the shitty wires in parts

I'm with F-Body, black would look far better, but, silver doesn't look out of place.....

Notice A difference in the sound?

I have one of the i-Pod connectors in the Truffle like that (Thanks Edge!) and it makes life so much easier with no CD's etc......
