Well, where do I start?

Just ordered two new tyres (Kumho 712's) so I can finally get all four pony wheels back on the car.

Still got to clean up two of the four ten hole wheels and then sell them.

Headliner and associated trim has been removed. Rust isn't as bad as I expected which is good. Sunroof will be chopped out and replaced with metal as money permits.

Springs, shocks, caster camber plates and control arms (all for the front end) are still waiting in the living room I'll be getting those fitted when I have the money too.

Need to order some parts for the brakes to get them finished.

After that, the shopping list has gears, possibly o2 sensors and a grille insert up next. Wheel bearings too.
Oh, and the necessary bracket to allow me to remove the broken air con system.

There's a very rare 170mph saleen gauge cluster I'm sorting out which will replace the stock 85mph(!) one. I've got the windscreen from the same car, but I don't think there's any different about that.

Yeah, but not that long ago you'd never contemplate buying a mustang.

Thats not a dificult job to do, no more than a day at the most. You would need to get the caster camber reset though but any decent alignment place should be able to do this. I replaced all the suspension front and back and polybushed the entire front end on my chavscort in a day

Give me a shout if you need help or if you fancy a weekend away drop down here and we can do it at the barn. Might even have some where to do the alignment for you seeing as i am so close to silverstone

That would certainly save some cash.
It's the springs that I'm don't fancy doing myself. I've heard stories of them pinging through garage walls!
I'm not sure I've got all the right tools either.

I'll get another quote on getting the shop to do it and see what that comes to.

Graeme and Dean did the ones on Dean's Maro the other day no problem.

That was the rears mate they are even easier i reckon alex could manage those. The fronts are the suposidly dificult ones as you have to use a spring clamp and wind the spring tension down to reduce the height of the spring. If you dont wind even the clamps can spin around and come off leaving a lot of stored energy free to expel its self in any direction

Hello POD,

Will you be up and running for the end of the month.

Its about time I kicked your sorry slow yellow ass

My car must be light enough by now after a year of bits dropping off.

Oh yes. I'll definitely be racing at the Mopars at the end of the month.
I'll be pleased with a 14.5 (ie marginally faster than it is now) - I'm not expecting any more as I haven't fitted any go faster bits yet.

You not broken your car again yet then?

Got my new Kumho tyres fitted today, which means all four pony wheels are back on the car.
Cost me £15 per wheel - removing and disposing of old tyres, fitting new tyres and putting them on the car. Not bad at all.

First outing will be the Damn Yankees tomorrow, so I'll take some photo's then.

About flipping time, every time I stopped to look at your car I'd notice that dam wheel with the oval holes

Kumho's for the win
