It should cover pretty much everything except wheel bearings under the car.

Air ride is on the cards, still, but it'll be put back for a couple of years . . . unless the new set-up works a treat, then it may just get left . . .

Wheel bearings are another issue . . . but I'll need to replace the wheel studs before changing wheels anyway - so I'll probably do it then.

you will probably find you need to change the wheel studs when you do the front drums as the new drums will probably be like mine and need spacing along with longer studs

Yes, I know. But their parts are top quality. That's why I said send them a list. LOL

Have had some parts from them for my Buick and their prices on what I got were very reasonable. A lot better than Kanter! Kanter is too proud of their parts IMO. And look at their site, do you see one part number on anything??? No! They list by application only and give vague descriptions.

Take the first thing on your list, SHOCKS $169 for a set of 4 gas charged shocks. WTF!!!! Are they gold plated????

I can buy Monroe-Matic Plus shocks (Nitrogen gas charged) for your 58 Caddy for $16.58 each at Rock Auto. That's $66.32 for a set of 4!!!! And they are EXACT FIT!!

Now, i'm sure Kanter's are exact fit too, mind. They are probably made by MONROE!!!

I have yet to find anything at Kanter I can't get elsewhere cheaper.

Here's another example.

I needed a clutch disc for my Buick ( Flat Diaphragm; 10" Clutch, 10 Spline, 1 1/8" Hub ) and checked Kanter; $120.45 + $75.00 core deposit.

I bought my disc from Parts America for $21.88 (no core).

Now I did have to do some research because Parts America didn't list a disc for my Buick because of it's age but knowing what the specs were I found the disc I needed listed under 1969 Chevrolet C-10 pickup with 292ci I6.

So my hour or so of research saved me over $100 because I didn't have to pay to ship my old disc back to them!!!

Hell Dean, if you want, send me a list of what all you need and let me search my contacts for them.

I'll bet you a fiver I can beat Kanter by at least half!

Mind you, i'm not trying to be an ass. I just think you guys should be able to get parts at a decent price for your Yanks without getting fleeced by these big named places.

And I do realize too that being over there you don't have the access to some of these other places like I do because they don't ship international.

I'll get down off my soapbox now before I fall off. Jack keeps trying to take control of me legs! LOL

Do some checking and see if the cables on full size Chevys (same year) isn't the same. I'll bet they are.

As I put in the other thread - I don't have any details yet so I'll let you know later . . . .

What times, ideally, do you need ferrying and I'll try and work around them ?
