Fixed speed cameras in Swindon have been switched off, making the borough council the first English local authority to abandon their use

The mobile camera's are starting to reappear around Luton again, even on a ruddy Sunday morning

Milton Keynes only has the 1 set of average speed camera's, afaik. though they are a trial so I guess we will see more.

Rather that than bring the limits down to 50 or 40. Wont stop the bikers though

Don't be so sure, all the newer ANPR camera's face both ways for that very reason. They also apparently check that the front number plate matches the rear where fitted
