How much do you think I'd get for . . . . ?

My 305ci on eBay ?

I'd be selling it as is, without dizzy, leads, starter, headers, bell housing, clutch, flywheel . . . .

And selling the Torker II (and eventually the Edelbrock carb) separately.

It would go with it's (very hard to find) chrome valve covers and ally breathers.

So.  How much you reckon for the block, as per the above description ?

Also do you think It'd be beneficial to leave the manifold on the motor ?  Either way I'm keeping the carb for now . . .

I was reckoning £300 as long as I do a good advert . . .

It's tidy looking motor, which I think will help . . . There's nothing more off-putting then seeing a motor for sale that looks like it's just been pulled from a lake.

I certainly can't justify buying the 350ci AND the turbos and all the gubbings immediately . . . .

But if I saw £300 for the 305ci . . . . I could maybe  justify the 350ci as is fairly soon . . . . .

(prepares to once more pull-out the smiley . . . . . )

I would email that ebay seller and ask if you can get the kit without the turbos. Those units are going to be $800 each easily maybe more. The rest of the stuff would save time and money fabbing

That's what I thought.

The price difference between the first two makes me wonder though.

Just like the price difference in the 2 links in your other thread for the complete kit.

I found new turbos on ebay uk for £190 each by the way

Yeah, but that other full kit is £700 . . a no-brainer, really . . . If that's the case . . .

yup

i think the 305 would hold up for a ehile if you ran low boost well until you had the cash for the 350 then wind it up and see how much abuse a 305 can take

No.  I'm not running the 305 with that exhaust . . It'll just coat the underside in $hit again.

Plus running Turbos on the 305ci then blowing the motor means I can't sell it for F*ck all . . . . I need every penny it can get me.
