LAN-Fest 2 – The Grand Plan

Date: 19th – 21st May 2006-05-09
Location: My House in Milton Keynes. Map Link Here

At the moment the Following people have confirmed their attendance & will be getting shot at:

The following are either Possiblys or will be popping in for a bit of a socialise but not Gaming:

Friday
Ian & Vicky will be arriving at mine at about lunchtime on this day to setup the server & (not that they know it yet) help me sort the house out. People are welcome to start arriving anytime from then on. Friday will be time to get the Setup sorted & watch some DVDs in the evening although if you wish to play games that is fine.

Saturday
Gaming! This will mainly be BF2, Battleracer (a mod) has also been suggested & some other games will be looked into too.
Hopefully there will be a BBQ this evening but more about that in a Minute.

Sunday
Not sure yet depends how long people want to stay. More Gaming is on the Cards!

Food
Saturday evening I will be firing up the Bar-B to cook up some [northern mode] proper scran [/northern mode], I’ll be going to Cost co before the event to buy some food for the weekend, at the Moment probably a few trays of Cakes, some burgers, buns cheese etc (Oh and to see if they Bulk Sell Pepperami Hots!). Please feel free to bring some food for this if you want. The rest of the weekend will mainly be takeaways etc.

Drink
There will be a 9 Gal Keg of ‘Brains SA’ Beer on Tap for the weekend & Glasses, which if subsequently end up getting filled with beer is purely coincidental will cost £1.50 each with any excess money left over after paying for these Glasses being Donated to the MKB Club Fund. Please consider that if you don’t like Beer you’ll need to bring some drink with you should you so desire.

Sleeping Arrangements
Chris has already Called Shotgun

on the 1 Spare Bed in the House, as a result he is to be picked on in BF2 all weekend as revenge!
Ian & Vicky currently have my brothers room but if he is attending he might want this back… (I’ll let you know in advance guys)
Everyone else will need to bring suitable stuff, there is a 3 seater sofa & 4 Chairs (Including 3 recliners) in the Living room + Loads of floor space everywhere.

Other stuff:
A 2MB internet connection will be available all weekend.

Parking – There is room for 4 Cars outside my house without getting in the way of the neighbours if you squeeze in a bit + road parking if needed. If people who can could share cars that would be good.

No problems mate kinda goes with setting up is the sorting out

I will have the RTCW:ET install and patch files on my machine / memory stick making ti very very easy to install (and its FREE!!!)

Beer has been ordered as mentioned in the other thread, will work out somewhere in the region of £1.07 per pint which will cover the cost of sharing the keg.

Right, I've ordered BF2 which should be here sometime next week.
The computer has lacked attention (read cash) since I got the car, so it's not exactly quick and BF2 will probably be the only game I'll have in common!
The case has got neon lights in it though.

I'll sort stuff out a bit more after we get back home on Sunday.
