My copy of BF2 arrived today.

But.... the damn thing won't work on my gf4 4200 video card
So, I might have to take a trip to PCWorld and see what I can find/afford.

If you really really need to go to pcworld for a gfx card, visit their website and order it through that and pick it up in store, as it will be mucho cheaper!

Oh, don't get me wrong. I normally wouldn't go near pcworld with a barge pole.

However, I need an AGP card that will run BF2, as cheap as possible, and before this Saturday! That rules most options.

You said it needed a good video card. I was expecting it to run slowly, not refuse to work at all!
And anyway, I bought the game brand new for 18 quid.

Right, I've bought myself a GF 6200 card today.
It complains about win2k not being supported, but I've read that others have got it to work. I'll not be happy if it doesn't....

Anything else I need to bring?
Any other games we're playing?

Any other that we'll be playing will most likely be free downloads like the wolfenstein one or that Battleracer mod for BF2 i'd imagine.
