there will be m8, next to go in is a 69 Camaro & possibly a 57 Chevy but i'm not keen on the model

I also have a ram truck, a 64 F pickup & a new hummer to install  only concern I have is if my GFX card is up to the job the user made cars are normally much heavier on Polygons that the "stock" ones

Put in the '57, Mate.

What's involved in the modding ?

Does it effect your saves ???

what I've done with these games before is complete it as standard, install a load of mods & then if I can be arsed complete it again with cool cars, something about jumping outof a 57 chevy or a C3 vette & blowing people away is more fun

Cool.

TBH, I was intending on completing it stock first, but it's a cool way of keeping an interest in it.

I need some more RAM before I can complete it, my PC can't cope very well with a certain section of the last mission... chris will know. (unless you've completed it too by now Dean).

*Smug mode on*
I can safely say my system had absolutely no problem what so ever running any part of the game.

Bounce, Dude.

No I Haven't completed it.  Unlike "some" I'm taking my time and enjoying the game to its fullest, instead of just rushing through to finish it.

1/2 of them are dead anyway... I couldn't be arsed with that part of the Game

There is also the "See if you can get an articulated Lorry to the top of Mt Chilliad" Game!!  This proved tricky but not too hard did it on 2nd or 3rd go
+ the trip down again was fun!

The wheels need to be made a tad smaller on this one because they are sticking through the side of the fenders on the model

Oh and BTW so Long as none of these mods FK the game up, the 3 files concerned in modding all this lot can be copied & installed right in place of the files on you're PC's

I tried some of this moding lark yesterday.  But I can't find any of the three cars I "swapped" and every so often the game freezes. (maybe it tries to load one of the new models?)

Any suggestion?  Is there a easy way of finding the cars in the game? (spose I could find one first and save it in a garage)

Ok first of all  BACKUP YOU'RE FILES (basically the contents of the Data folder)

Secondly if you have ANY modified Cars in you're Garages remove them the crashes are likely to be caused by the Car mods which on the most part don't work with the replacement models.  If you leave them in place & change the car the game crashes when it tries to Load the Garage contents & makes this inaccessible from then on.

Nitrous is still Fine though.

Thirdly download a program called "SAMI" (San Andreas Mod Installer)  this is an automatic install program which will eliminate any operator error while installing  get it here http://www.sanandreasmodinstaller.com
This also Backs up the files when Installing the mods & has an automated uninstall feature too.
