Yeah as the friday night will be setup & DVDs night doesn't mean that ppl can't play some games, but there's another option there.

Why not set up a wan and play form home mate, that way you could play and if time alowed it could always take a run out?

Can you mix a LAN and WAN game?  

Also, it's not the same playing in a room/house full of others playing. There's no atmosphere on your own.

Besides - it's not just for the gaming.

I only have a 2MB internet connection so internet play is possible for 1 or 2 people but not 10 or 12.
