2.7T Under Vehicle Garage Hoist.

Anyone had any experience with these because they are relatively cheap and almost portable 

Could be another useful edition to my 3rd garage and at 110mm high closed would even squeeze under the Camaro

That is the same price and lifts 4t (but uses more space)
I'd have more confidence in the 2-poster though TBH, + the point-loads on those 2 wheels on the scissor would be pretty high I reckon..

Buying a two post lift for under £1000... wouldn't have much confidence in that at all being honest!

Plus you'll need the right concrete work in the floor to take the load.

I'll have to have a gander at that Martin, only issue would be how restrictive would it be to access under the car?

I wouldn't want to work on something that is held with a lifting device.

I would prefer to get 2, 3, or 4 really good jacks and 6 axle stands. Lift it up, put the axle stands under the car and let them take the weight, then use the jacks as a fail-safe for the areas you are working under.

The flat jack would get in the way when working under the vehicle, which, presumably would be the reason for purchase and as Andy has stated, the Two-Post lifts would be too much hassle to install.

You'd like to think it has stops to stop it coming down whilst under it, but I can't see any.
