i'm addicted to buying Cadillacs

had a bit of a change round the last couple of weeks, i unexpectedly sold my modified 56 Cadillac Coupe last week, however it's been replaced with this 54 Cadillac Coupe which i've had my eye on for a couple of months

Starts, runs and drives great. A few age related marks but overall a tidy little truck.

Got back from this a few days ago.

Awsome event, 9300 classic American cars through the gate on the main day and i think 6000 and 7000 on the 2 lead up days.

Glorious 36 degree sunshine and 3 nights top cruising as well

General Banter / Rescuing forgotten heroes

The old girl hadnt moved for nearly 5 years.

A bit of petrol down the carb and a fresh battery and she came back to life and moved under her own power (with flames shooting out the top of the carb)

She was in great shape when she was parked 5 years ago. 5 winters have been cruel to her paint and chrome. Still very solid underneath.

A few hours later, a bottle and a half of T-Cut and a bit of tweaking and we were cruising around in her. Drives really well, runs nice too as the motor and trans have been rebuilt.

A good car for some one to do up, only needs cosmetics really as she is super solid and mechanically everything was rebuilt before she was parked.
