Looks good.
I watched the keynote presentation, very impressive.

Lots of features I would find very useful from a work point of view.
I'll be getting the upgrade as soon as it's released (as will the entire office).

Considering Windows lacks loads of the features in the current MacOS release, I expect using a PC will feel like even more of an antique experience than it already is...

Same here mate if its anything like tiger my machine will be quicker again nice to see the custom widget feature i just need a larger screen to house them all on

I didn't realise you had a Mac Rocky?!

Exquisite taste as always!

As long as your Mac ain't too old it should run generally quicker with Tiger.
My dual G4 one does.
The only issue is Spotlight which finds files on your system.  It may slow you down slightly, plus the Desktop widgets are constantly running in teh background so they use up some RAM.
As long as you've got at least 1GB and a lateish G4 (say 700MHz or quicker) I'd go for it.

I upgraded my dual 867MHz machine with a Radeon 9600XT graphcis card so the drawing of the interface is now almost completely handled by the card, leaving more CPU time for my apps!

I dont know much about computers but i have G4 emac, would like an upgrade soon but it does what it has to, i have a mate who gets me the latest software, I had photoshop cs and all the other bits that comes with it before it was released over here,I only use photoshop i dont know how to use the others

er X = 10 as the os is system 10 the next step on from system 9 or system 7 now known as windows for you PC guys
