im toying with getting a projector for films,sport etc,
ive sold my pool table and have some space to fill....

what should i be looking for,
brightness,fan noise,...?

Arrr, was it a proper table? Out of interest how much did you sell it for? I've been looking for one for a while..

My girlfriend's pop is really into his AV (has one remote to control curtians, projector, lights, dimming, has a 50"plasma and a projector for watching movies with speakers mounted into the celling.. However, I don't really know anything about them.. His is a Sony but no idea what model it is (I know it cost thousands though ). So judging from his knowledge, Sony are good to go with..

Get yourself on here and check out the reviews. Never made a bad purchases after going by the recommendations.

Its definately one of those areas in life that can be full of bs, but they seem to give everything a thorough test.

yep it was a good table craig...
 cost me £480, four years ago [on ebay] so cant complain....

blu ray is awesome you will need to do some initial fiddling to get the picture just right

got the projector mounted 2.3m width pic thats around 100'' diagonal

will greatly improve when i have the screen mounted,as this is on a magnolia paper which has silver and gold stripes in it,,,,
