As some of you know i am almost blind in my left eye with what at the time was diagnosed as keratoconus. Since i was diagnosed with this in my left eye it have also developed the same in my right eye so it was time to get something done about it. I was sent for a topography scan and the results have now re diagnosed an even rare disease call pellucid marginal degeneration. The plus side is that both disease can be cured so wanting to know more i did a little research and came across a video of the procedure i will need in my left eye

Didnt bother me at all. My brother has been totally blind for near on 20 years now. He had an unknown virus of the retinas which basically tuned them to dust. I grew up watching these type of op's.
The worst one was when he had a plastic disc inserted in both eyes to try and recreate the retinas surface. They are still in there now and poke out a little bit from the side. LOL

ahh, a silicone buckle..

paddy macaloon from prefab sprout has had the same procedure, he's almost deaf and blind now
