Might be able to help you there, i have a SPA Design 3.5" Tach with sequential shift lights and digital speedo. Was going to use it on the Transam but things have changed and its probably going to end up on ebay, Looking for around £200, but its worth it as its pretty trick

I forget the best make of front suspension

manitou, had a set on my specialized rockhopper back when they 1st started full travel, they cost me £700. I still have the rockhopper at my folks place, i had almst £2k invested in that bike but back then it was my only transport.

Name to look for are Mavic SUP rims, hope hubs and shimano gearsets, if you can find a flight titanium saddle its worth the upgrade

shimano used to start with LX,then XT and top of the line XTR on the groupsets

Not a name i am familiar with, Giant,Specialized,Marin and maybe GT would be my choices. With the above you know your going to get top quality components, but it depends what you want to do with it

Am loving he Boss Hoss, also the Norton as you say is stunning, perfection in simplicity, yet the small details make the whole bike

he metal of a car or the buildings of Manhattan are often enough to block the iPhone's view of the sky, leaving it just as confused as you are.

Well this happens with every GPS, im sure Titsy being the GPS guru will help explain. The damn TOMTOM was fcukin useless when we got into rochester

Trying one out for a while is cool, we should all try different cars for the experience - but be sure its in good nick because you will want to change it sooner rather than later

Exactly, try anything once. Just saying the iroc is a better car doesnt really qualify it, the porsche is a european sports car the iroc 'american sports car' in my dream garage although there would be a couple of american cars there would also be some jap and european and even british. Variety is the spice of life mate so if you have the chance to swap i say go for it, not like IROC's are hard to come by

Thing is the chesil is almost as expensive as an original if done properly and at the end of the day its still a replica. I can remember looking, infact i went to the factory as i was thinking of one instead of the 55 but it was going to be almost £30k to do it properly with a porsche motor and that was 7 years ago

life's all about choices, at the moment my choice is to just own it and occasionally go and mess about with it.

Its the one thing i actually own outright.

What difference would it make to you? It's not like you have a classic that drives anywhere..

Nope, and it doesnt bother me in the slightest, infact i m thinking i might just leave it exactly how it is as it seem's to piss more people off than it does me

I used to use NGK's in the camaro before it was rebuilt - if I use them now they melt real quick so I use Autolites

Did you call NGK and get the correct heat index? i had a simaler problem on the westfield where the plug would fail. Called NGK tech told them what the engine was and the modifications and they selected the correct plug which stopped all of our problems and actually gave a slight power increase
