I like that thread.
I sometimes check out some of the tracks on iTunes if I'm unfamiliar with them.

As long as it isn't abused for post count (ie posting every track you're listening to as and when they come up in your playlist) instead of just posting a song you're listening to a lot at the time (which is surely the point?).
