Anyone else tried Windows 7 yet?

Been using the release candidate for few days now

Only issue I had was when I messed around with a partition in Ubuntu and lost the BOOTMNGR

Yes, and it's great!

It's like vista should have been.

It tends to be the trend that every second operating system that Microsoft release is a good one... Which is why I stuck with XP reather than switch to Vista...  Windows 7 looks to be what Vista should have been....

Me too. I kept XP when I bought a new PC last year. Only heard bad things about Vista and when my g/f has asked me to look at issues on her Vista using laptop it really doesn't impress me.

Mind you, I still have my old PC here and that runs on 98SE...and my XP machine is set up to "classic windows" so it looks like 98SE.

To be fair when XP came out there were lots of complaints about there being no drivers for lots of existing hardware.

Next time I need a PC, hopefully there'll be a stable OS that most people can get on with...
