Learn something new every Day: (From the same guy who contacted me, mentioned above)

"Hi again. the camaro just needed exhaust+handbrake cable 4 mot when I bought it, sold it  about 18 months later which was about 4 years ago.it came from about 200 yards from twickenham and was owned by a guy who had about 25-30 yanks.he used to hire them as film cars and the camaro was in 1 just b4 i bought it off him.
apart from oil+filter etc the only thing i needed to get when i had it was a new starter.i also put the steering wheel on as the original leather had split and worn.
if you were selling it about 6 months ago i would have been interested but i have another z28 now just spent about 2k on the engine+stiffening up the body.
take care and i'll be up your way next month at santa pod.you cant miss my camaro its purple mica with pepperami man graphics,so if you spot it give me a shout.
cheers Rod.
ps originally the camaro was metallic red with silver along the bottom.

I'd start higher personally, you never know how much of a mug the person buying is.  If they're not a mug, they'll try and knock you down.

Good luck with the auction mate.

Given the engine problems, I'd take what you can get as fixing them will cost big, and even then you still have a car with bodywork issues and a few other faults.

I know you've ploughed a lot of wedge into her over the years, but I think now is the time to stop if you can get a sale.

She certainly looks good in the pics and your description is bang on!

He can take it off if its before the last 12 hours of the auction end, then your the only one that can,
Trouble is when bids start being removed it puts others off because they think somethings wrong.
When you do remove it if you have to you can put a comment in the reasons.
Make it good
