Yep I did have it on my old Camaro.

I only had it on cos the front end paintwork wasn't pretty.  I agree it doesn't do the paintwork any god, but personally I liked the look of the black on red

Having looked a bit closer, these aren't exactly what I'm after, so I'm better off not getting them.

Ok no problems, for anyone else who's interested the holes are about 14mm across.

Questions and Queries / Part Required
« on: January 17, 2007, 04:29:35 pm »
Well, what can I say.  I spoke to Geoff at Astoria - what a lovely bloke.  Very helpful indeed - went out of his way to help.

Unfortunatley though the part I require is coming back as discontinued and can't find alternative aftermarket parts.

So beware don't damage your rubber bellows

Good thing though - he's manage to source me a second hand one .

Definitely recommend this guy, he was brilliant and will definitely be using him again in the not too distant future.  - I see an order for transmission filters/oil etc etc etc on the books

Thanks Graeme for pointing me in his direction

General Banter / Sunday...
« on: December 04, 2006, 01:41:53 pm »
A couple of weeks ago one tyre on my Formula was totally flat.  Tried pumping it up but it was just leaking around the rim Unfortunately I was working in Bracknell and hubby was working in Gloucester, so had to use two cars.  As we still can't drive the Astro and the Trans-Am wasn't taxed the only option we had was to use the space saver - mmmmmmmmm wasn't a fun journey for hubby at 50 mph all the way.

No problems now though as I've had 4 new tyres fitted this weekend

Have fun peeps and will catch up again when we're back

although they want $100 for the control module!

We haven't got one of the controllers - wasn't needed.  The inbuilt controller lets you choose what position you actually want the valve to be, bearing in mind we only have it open or closed anyway

We got this on the Trans-Am,

http://shop.quicktimeperformance.com/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=55

Sounds great and definitely makes a difference on power cos totally shut it shoves it through the cat but totally open it directs majority of it straight out.

I'm going to order a Borla when we get back from our hols for my Formula and will definitely be having one of these on mine
