Can't see the pictures at work, all the picture hosting sites are blocked

I have nearly gone down that route several times, I think the most important thing is to have a plan

Hey no doubt the timing will slip but it gives you something to follow and also chart your progress and have a rough idea how much is left to do

Anyone know the code ?

The paint code is on the data plate riveted to the cowl or firewall, usually on the drivers side.

Then you can go to www.autocolorlibrary.com to check it for color name and formula.

BTW, you will have to select Domestic, not European, in the drop down menu.

Paint code on a 3rd gen is in the centre console on the build sheet at the bottom, will have higher and lower body, both codes should be the same obviously on yours

My bad!

I forgot GM went to printed build sheets in the mid 80's. Depending on the model they are found in the trunk, glove box, or center console as Rocky said.

Thanks for the correction Rocky!
