I know a couple of you are in to these kinds of things so I thought I'd put them on here first before I stick them on ebay....

Adaptec ASR-4800SAS/256MB
This is a 8 way SAS raid controller card, will do anything you need it to do! Will do up to RAID 6 (dual drive failure) and will push 3Gb/s on each channel...

Uses 64bit PCI-x slot at 133mhz

4 internal SAS ports with cables included and all the software etc. Never been used, just opened the box to take the photos. Retails for over £600, not looking for anywhere near that, less than half infact!

RAM - All new and unused, still in original packaging

2x Kingston KVR533D2N4/1G - 240 pin, 533Mhz DDR2, CL4, £20

2x Kingston KVR400D2N3/1G - 240 pin, 400Mhz DDR2, CL3, £20
(one of these has been opened but is mint!)

ryan would probably know if it'll fit your machine, its just down to the ram speed, the ddr/ddr2 and the latency

either that or go to crucial.com/uk and use their system scanner - one of the usefull things it does is tell you all about the ram you got - size, speed etc - so you can check if its the same as edges, and also it will tell you what teh maximum the system board can take and what speeds etc again!!

Sorry dean, yours is DDR 400mHz if i recall correctly, that stuff is too new.

I correct myself, my CURRENT pc is DDR-400, yours is SDRAM dean... so there's no way in hell it'll work.

Macs have been on 1066 DDR3 for a good while now...

I can install Windows and you can play games on my Mac if you want...

Crysis... no

most modern thing I play is Fallout 3 (which runs fine) and GTA IV which is alright

but mostly EVE Online which is Low Tech by comparison
