Now obviously I have a lot of upgrades in-game for this and we would be playing against (and with) loads of other people which would be both a benefit and a drawback but I can help you out.
If you want to play this i'd recommend starting an account & installing the game now, the reason for this is because the "Accrued by playing the game" in-game "certs" build up passively each day, and if you logged in to collect them prior to the LAN you'd have some to get some basic upgrades at thats time.
To get the most from this you'd have to collect them every day (otherwise the accrual maxes out, very cunning of them), but I understand thats a bit OTT maybe but having some extras at the start would be handy.
If it won't work or you're not interested then no worries.

would I be able to use your dining table instead if we move it into the conservatory?
Yeah, sure.

I'm also thinking of possibly bringing the big RC car over if Ian can give me lifts and if there's enough room given no desk. Can then take it out for a run around that little track near your place, that is if its all back in 1 piece by the weekend. sound ok?
Yeah, cool.
I know Ian's working some of the weekend (and I forgot when, exactly) but if you need a lift and Ian's not available I'm sure I can help.

Dean, I'd like to not bring my desk with me this time because its a PITA to move and its covered in stuff, would I be able to use your dining table instead if we move it into the conservatory? or do either you or Ian have another spare table I could use?

A quick run back on Saturday is a good idea, probably between your 2 commitments that day would be best because then it will be daylight.
(http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/up.gif) ok NP

Runtime will be entirely dependant on whether anything breaks or not and the weather, not going out to play if its raining.
lol well (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/crossed.gif) nothing breaks then !!
