Hi all

Can anyone help me ( I think I'm beyond help personally)
I am after a complete rear seat for the Pontiac, I am having dificulties finding 1.  I have been told that a rear seat out of any of GM's "A" body 2 doors, Buick Skylark, Olds Cutlass, Chevy Chevelle would fit.

 Cheers

Classifieds & Useful eBay Links / Engine for sale
« on: September 23, 2007, 08:04:05 pm »
Am having thoughts about selling my 400 block that has been bored to 461 .
Would come as a short block with crank, rods, pistons and cam.
For the right offer I might include the heads as well.
The engine has been spec'd to be streetable as well as raceable, should be good for 600BHP and also capable of taking nitrous as well.

Info on the engine can be found here,
  http://uk.geocities.com/uk_pontiac_racing/page3.html

No price as I can't think what its worth. Has cost me 6000 pounds including top end, I know I won't get it all back but sensible offers please.

Projects / Pontiac restoration
« on: January 16, 2007, 12:57:09 pm »
Have been thinking it over long and hard for a few weeks and have decided to strip and rebuild the Pontiac to somewhat near factory spec.
Have been reading a few magazines a few things have sunk in.  As the car is possibly rare( more than likely it's very rare) , converting it for racing won't be easy to undo if I later changed my mind, and if (god forbid) I ever crashed it racing then it would be totally lost.

The somewhat near is because for the time being I'm going to keep the big engine aswell as putting a stock looking converstion radio in.

Hopefully I can get some history on the car and hopefully some build details, but am not holding my breath seeing as the car is unusual.

This doesn't mean that I won't race it but I think I will stick to events like the MOPAR's @ the POD and the NSRA's at SHAKY.

I'll update here as and when I do stuff.
First things first I need to move, as we are still here

General Banter / Thank You
« on: October 15, 2006, 05:38:18 pm »
Hi Guys.

Would like to thank Graeme and Shifty for their help today with the gearbox swap on the Pontiac. Everything went as planned  till they got here and then the usual. Old cars and over enthusiastic tightening of bolts by previous people. But the end result was changed box and no loss of blood. . What more can I say but THANKS GUYS.

or    DB1744PHP cross drilled and slotted rotors

Which type would you thinks better??
