This is not mine but this is similar to what I am doing.  I have not kicked the panel up in the middle.  Mine is pretty flat right across.

Moving further round, onto the trunk drop off, things didn't go so well.  The front edge didn't take much encouragement to seperate at all, and revealed the trunk drop off was in a pretty poor state.  This wasn't at all visible until the outer panel was removed.

Currently in the process of getting rid of my Trunk drop offs and just continuing the trunk corners right to the outer panel.  Seems to be the norm to do this to get rid of the water trap.

You'd like to think it has stops to stop it coming down whilst under it, but I can't see any.

Resurrected this thread as have updated the T/A lights again and you can compare with previous mods.  Due to the unusual size Sealed Beam units, very few are available to facelift the quad headlight set up, without spending loads of money.  So...at a great expense of about £8 for flexible neon tubes and some nylon line to attach.  Took the chance to also colour match the light bezels as well.

Intention is to add some daytime lights in the bottom scoops as the halo's aren't that visible in daylight and also renew the indicators.

I must stop looking on ebay. Even though my budget is overstretched, and space is limited, I can't seem to avoid finding bargains.  It's hard to pass on a £35 fuel tank that's only a few years old.  The filler neck is the wrong length, so I'll have to make some modifications, but apart from that it's all good. Plus it had about £20 worth of fuel in it, which I can put to use in my bike.

Had a little punt on that myself.  Didn't consider you'd be on it as well...LOL

As you may remember we lost Nanook last year.

We weren't planning on getting another dog but Syrus was a bit lonely.

May I introduce Luna......

She is Siberian Husky German Shepherd Cross.

She's about 12 weeks old now and is an absolute Luna(tic)

I cut the rear section and did mine.

When I researched mine I found guys that drilled out all the spot welds instead of cutting the whole floor out.

Just be sure to get some sort of datum before you start cutting the rail.

Have a look at some of the cashback sites as most of them do offer money back for breakdown membership.

General Banter / Ebuyer - shocking service!
« on: September 10, 2014, 11:56:56 am »
Had a similar thing with Pixmania some time ago over a freezer.  Pay your money and then get an email saying there's going to be a delay with your order as they tell you there are none in the country.

Must say I've never had many dealings with ebuyer but when I have they've not been too bad. Just lucky I guess.
