Its criminal how disposable electronics have become, especially good ones - I paid £400 for my Arcam CD player, its probably worth £50 tops now...if that.
Team the CD-67SE with even a relatively budget amp like a Cambridge Audio, and a pair of gale or similar speakers, and you can have a nice CD set up for change out of £150 that will blow the crap comet sell out of the water - even at five times the price.
