Title: Beer of the Moment.
Post by: Roadkill on January 23, 2006, 10:59:57 pm
Last night I popped round my parents to put up some coving for them and to generally assist.
I was fed some BASS.  Bottled Bass no less, One Imperial Pint.

Beautiful.  Everyday time is Bass time . . . . It's one of those Beers, Y'know ?

Definately a long-term fav of mine.

I like IPA's the best, the hoppier the better.  Sierra Nevada makes a good hoppy Pale Ale that I like alot.  I also drink lots of Sam Adams.

Have been advising him on some to send . . . Hopefully "Old peculiar" will be in there, as hopefully will "Bass".

There's a very good "live" Organic beer I had at Christmas which got me "feeling it" after only ONE !!

I'll try and remember what it was . . . . . (http://www.aaci-beds.co.uk/forum/smileys/up.gif)

Bottled Bass isn't super strong, but it's a classic taste - and still sold in Imperial pints as opposed to 550ml.

Brains? Yep nice drop that. They make two other decent brews in Wales......Buckleys and Felinfoel.......both independent and both worth a try.

Went off Theakstons a few years after they got 'eaten' by a corporation. If you're ever up in Yorkshire and you fancy a decent drop try Timothy Taylor; their 'Landlord Bitter' is very good.
