Author Topic: Ok, Need to fix something for the LAN Fest... (Read 1099 times)

Ok, I have a problem, (ha ha ha)

I can't plug my headphones directly into my PC... the soundcard doesn't have a HP output & the port on the front of my case doesn't work... The headphones currently plug into the wired remote for the speaker system.

This means that I'll have to bring my Subwoofer & attachments with me to Welyn which means I may as well just bring me speakers! which I don;t want to do...

Does anyone know how I can get the HP Port on the front of the Case working before tomorrow afternoon...

My speakers had a speaker jack on the main speaker . . . I'm assuming yours hasn't ?

I've got a problem too . . . . My main Hard drive looks like it's fooked.

Na, the sub is wired to the soundcard & has its own power supply then the "remote" sits on my desk & has vol & bass controls on it as well as the HP Jack. I just don't want to have to bring all that with me if I don't have too

I may have a spare set of speakers (no separate sub . . ) up the loft with the Jack on them ?

They're my old ones but are better than the ones I use now !!!

i'll see will probably just end up bringing mine, its not 'too' bulky, just a pain to unwire from here.

Depends what the lead is like inside the case. on mine its just a phono plug that goes out the back of the case into the sound card....but isn't quite long enough...useless tbh

If not it might have an audio cable similar to that on a cd/dvd drive. which should fit onto your mobo or sound card (internally). four pin if I remember correctly....or three.....maybe two
