I have a suggestion for the Lanfest...

A Game called 1nsane.

Its 10 years old, but still looks cool and will DEFINATELY run on everyone's PCs

Its a Free roaming Multiplayer Off Road Racing game, modes uinclude Racing, Free Roam, Return the Flag, King of the Hill, Capture the Flag, & some others I can't remember.

Invictus (the company that made it) released a no-cd patch for it IIRC so everyone can have it permenantly from my Install Disc.

There should be a huge list of Additional Vehicles/Maps/skins avaliable for the Game (Including one called FUBARville which was one of the first user created maps avaliable for the game... wonder how that got its name) provided that the website is still running, i'll have to look at home, if not I might have some saved somewhere (loads of Yanks to smash up) i'll have a look, but its still a great game.

This game is FUN, pure & simple.  Oh and the cars are fully deformable too which can be interesting

Thats so weird, I dug out my copy of 1nsane the other day! Found it under my last desktop

Has no chance of running on vista though would love to get it going again as it was a right laugh!

Shoot me if i sound like a complete noob, but how could you go about getting it to run on Vista?

Yeah, ignore my last post. Bit dim here, read the tick box wrong, and all i had to do was install the version of macromedia on it. All tickety-boo.

No, never did FUBARville, I'm finding it all quite sureal as it is. I do have a complete install cd if anyone wants it.

I ave the 'Sold Out Software' version.

Working fine  takes me back a bit LOL.

Just going to add some extra cars, skins & maps etc & then when the LAN comes round its just a case of copying the game folder onto everyones machines.

and apparantly... that works with Vista too...

well for Gaming its probably better if you use the top 1/2, your legs can play Wii Fit perfectly fine by themselves

Are you guys going with the 1nsane game?

Any chance you could send us the MKB edition?

Am getting well back into it. The slightly dodgy graphics are so bad, they're good!

Indeed I can, it'll only be about 150mb max so if Ian can host it somewhere once its finalised that should not be a problem.  I need to add a few more cars & maps before the LAN
