Sit there and think.

Do you need another car?

I hear what you're saying - one of the reasons I was asking the questions is that this would really have to replace the maro rather than be an additional car

I was thinking of selling the maro in the near future anyway.
Don't get me wrong I love my maro, when I get chance to drive it
I'm just after something that is a bit more car park friendly.

We've still got the truck as well. Just not much parking where we live now, what with Phil's 2 cars as well

There's your answer.... Tell him to do A yard sale, whack stickers on and clear the back log..... Thus giving you space for your own toys....

What's the mpg like?

I see you getting between 22-25MPG in heavy town with stop start traffic..... I can average over 30MPG on A run, cruising, as it is built to do.....

Is it more car park friendly than the maro?

Yes, as Edge has stated, the doors are around the same size, only the are more square, making access far easier.

Quoting: Amey
is it like my old Pontiac Grand Prix?

I would be surprised if it is any bigger, I take it to Tescos and it sits inside the lines with no over hang, just like any saloon tourer..... Un-like the 4th gens.....

its a great everyday yank as far as i could see

Hmm similar to the camaro mpg then .....

This is going to require some very hard thinking....

So...buy as many cars as you can, then that stops the people who WOULD have been driving them...from driving them. Genius. I'm off to have a word with my OH...

No idea..... Basically, the story goes like this.....

"Fixed the mysterious mis-fire on the Oldsmobile Toronado tonight

Finally!

I fitted the coil pack that Mr Chevy picked up for me the other week, it started to run with A continuous mis-fire and was running very, very rich.....

So, I gave up, closed the bonnet, and walked away....

Anyway, cut a long story short, had A few Courvoisiers tonight and decided I was A mechanic, pulled the coil pack, re-wired it, screwed it back in, started it, ahhhh, the mis-fire is back to intermittent.....

Better than before I thought.....

So, my house mate jumps in the drivers seat, we take it for A spin to get the engine warmed and sweet..... as it heated, took it to A massive roundabout, gave it A kick down, bang, engine stalls for A second, then some angels came and cleared the shit from the engine, and off she goes, like A rocket!

take her for one more cruise of the area to see if it comes back, nothing..... She seems to have been cleared

The Truffle of Pimp-ness is back to its mechanical best and she is loving it.....  "
