need to have a picture file that is 60x100 pixels less than 5kb and the add it under preferences mate

I will be updating the parameters sometime soon, to allow larger(in both respects) files.

Personally I think we need to apply a 'no animated GIFs in avatar ' rule - they annoy the hell out of me.

I'd like to keep the option of having animated avatars, its the looping repettitiveness of them which I think gets annoying.  So long as you make them up with a Long delay time on the last frame so they don't appear so mental I think it would be alright

Avatar is just the name for the pic, it can be a jpg or gif.
