She's now passed 137,000 miles and is now that little bit lighter due to the heat shields I've just yanked off of her !

They were all lose so I thought it best to remove them now as the noise was irritating me and to save them falling off while travelling down the motorway at some point in the future.

I also noticed that the fuel tank looks pretty rusty and the tailpipe section after the last box looks like it may fall off any time now.

There's also some fairly major rust on the NSR chassis leg.

I seriously don't think she'll survive the next "long" journey, though . . . . she's leaking water fast and give n the choice between sitting waiting for the AA for hours (again) and running her home dry, I know what I'll be doing.
