I think the 273 and the 318's are the same . . .

Hmmm....are they? If thats the case, you might have a result...

Now lying somewhere in one of my many hidey holes, theres a 318 manifold. Got a feeling (but i aint sure by any means!) that its got a barely used 500cfm 2 barrel holley on it too.

How much of a hurry are you in for it Nick? Its gonna be back end of next week before i get chance to look for it. If i can find it, ill swop ya for a bottle of Old No 7

Easiest thing to do is if you give us your address + details, I'll send you a cheque to cover it . . . .

That way you can order what you want - colours/style/letters/graphics/reflective . . .etc . . . I always go to states plates myself, BTW . .

As far as the 273/318 goes - As I say, I think they're the same. . . .

Certainly after stripping the 318ci down it appeared, visually the same as the 273ci.

The 273ci was obviously a lot less popular, so I'd struggle to believe it was made differently from all the others . . . . .

The stroke and bore would probably give it away . . . . 318ci could be a stroked 273ci ???

Have states plates got a website??

It seems all small block mopar engines are basically the same. The stroke of the 273 is the same as the 318 but the bore is different.

Think you'll find 273ci, 318ci, 340ci and 360ci are basically the same.

Have you considered joining the MMA ?  Chris is a member and they seem very helpful.

No.  And communication with them is Sh!te.  However they always come through . . . just don't try and phone them !!
I find the easiest way is to fax stuff to them . . . Their details are in Classic American or . . . . . (wait for it)

My brother, who got them is a Teddy Boy.

"Well - Now Dig This" is a quote pulled from a Bill Haley (& the Comets) song.

The quote means nothing to me, particularly, just the plates themselves.
