I know a lot of people on the US site that use them mainly as dust covers but some say they are ok. If its a new ali manifold i would have no broblem but if its been around a while like mine with helicoils i wouldnt

I Don't think I'd trust Ally Manifolds . . . If it was straight up and out, then Yeah.
But you're guaranteed to knock something and I doubt think the Ally would stand it.
Cast Iron Manifolds I'd be happy to use it on . . . . . Hmm. Like the Caddy.
