I picked this up off of Steam today, to be honest it seems like a bunch of 633k5's reading too much into a video but as they say companies, including Valve love leaving cryptic teaser clues to their future projects, ( See hidden references to the Borealis in Portal 2 and the not-so hidden references to Aperture Science Laboratories in HL2: Ep2.

Now anyone on here not into games is probably wondering WTF? why do we care, well you probably don't to be honest, but for me, and a couple of others here this is different, this is Half Life, a game that in 1998 single handedly re-wrote the book on how to make a first person shooter game, and the industry has never looked back since, it set a new bar.
Half life 2 exceeded this bar and in some respects is still yet to be surpassed, so...
A 3rd installment to the HL Saga is not a suprise, now nearly 8 years on from Half Life 2 it makes perfect sense to provide everyone with the conclusion to the open book story that we were left with at the end of HL2: Ep2 with a next generation engine & Graphics.
So where are we? if this is happening (which is probably is, see above) expect further news in the next 12 months, Christmas 2012 release? possible... Summer 2013? most probable...

Valve have been doing this for years.

I don't think it means we're any closer to HL 3 . . . but I hope I'm proved wrong.
