Question - Rear light Seals??
« on: November 07, 2005, 11:10:10 pm »
Ok,

Mainly for Phil this one...  you know the other week in northampton when I had all that water in my boot I said about seeing rubber seals for the rear lights somewhere... well here's some,

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/82-92-CAMARO-IROC-Z-28-TAIL-LIGHT-TAILLIGHT-GASKETS_W0QQitemZ8011483747QQcategoryZ33716QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Where do these go? if they go on top of the lights mine are missing...

Ryan

yeah, i have those.. you cant really see them, but they are there..

the light gaskets go behind the lights, above, and down the side.. rear lights dont really let much water in because they only have TINY holes for the wires and bolts to go in. boot seal is a more likley candidate.

I don't know what it's like on the 3rd gen, but on mine you have to undo 6 large plastic butterfly nuts to remove the entire cluster from the body.

, the speed in the chavscort must be something to do with the quality of the clientell it attracts, whereas in the astro you get more room, In a 3rd gen its a bit of a acrobatic challenge...

Not such a problem for Philo, being short n'all.  I guess it depends on who's "helping him change the bulbs"
