love the digital wallet idea.
I suspect NFC (Near Field Communication) technology in mobile phones will start to replace bank cards etc.
Its already being using in Japan. We demonstrated a prototype Nissan Juke to Renault/Nissan at the end of last year that used NFC in a mobile, basically acting as a key. (also charged the phone)
So not sure we would still be carrying aroung seperate bank cards etc..(http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/dontknow.gif)

Because it's more secure, given the current fragile security of electronic data, may be we should all go back to hand written cheques (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/rtfm.gif)
NB : After having my card cloned twice by different scum bag garage attendants and the bank and police not giving a toss, I only ever pay for petrol with good old fashioned secure cash (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/wink.gif)

Never said it was more secure just more convenient. Wouldn't have though it was much more secure than current chip & pin.
Same tech as Barclaycard and Oyster already use, just shoved in a phone.(http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/cool.gif)
