I was going to say that.  How did the welding go on them?

Yeah, I know.

The Headers are filled an ready for the final coat of primer now.

Next she needs to be balanced so the sump can be cut for the stand to pass through . . . .

UPDATE

Headers are now fully painted (outside and in)

The old (broken) Header studs have been drilled out to make way for new M8 threads.

The sump is cut with edging strip added.

The stand is assembled.

I'm picking up a M8 Tap tonight and a suitable socket to "insert" the new core plugs with.

I hope to get it onto the stand and basically completed this weekend - However, to lift it and assemble it could take up to 5 adults !

Volunteers ?

Engine is now on its stand - and looking very cool.

Just needs to be levelled and have the sump re-fixed (next week probably).

Need to buy an Oil Filter (anyone going near JWR or US Auto ?)

Then it's on to the front of the engine, pulleys etc . . back this'll wait for now.

Oh, and struggling to fit core plugs !!!

I'll be going to USless Auto when I pick my exhaust up.
I also need a new Mirror Glass for my D/S Mirror,  which reminds me I must phone them about that!

I'll be picking up the mirror glass at the same time as the exhaust, which will be in about 2-3 weeks judging by what the guy at US Auto just had to say about Borla's punctuality atm!
