Westfield change hands.

Westfield Sportscars, one of England’s foremost builders of Lotus Seven-style cars, has just changed hands. Potenza Sports Cars have bought the company’s assets from founder Chris Smith, though the latter will remain a consultant and investor in the company.Westfield has been in business for nearly a quarter-century, and offers a range of several models, including the Sport 2000S (above), a road/track screamer with a six-speed sequential gearbox yoked to a 250+ horsepower Ford Duratec, AP Racing brakes, and Instrumentation by Stack.Up until now, Westfield has been a “family business,” with Ginetta changing hands to a big player and TVR’s recent upheaval lets hope it works out [img]http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/dontknow.gif" alt="" border="0" onload="NcodeImageResizer.createOn(this);" class="bbc_img" />
