If it's only very temporary, get a lightweight tarp and lay a cotton blanket between it and the paintwork
(http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/chiny.gif) I have a tarp that may be big enough, I'll have to find a couple of old bed sheet or something for the blanket, though I'm using those for dust sheets atm.

Or get one of these :

Halfords covers = shite. Last about 8 months water proof integrity, then just left anything in.
Yeah sounds like the type I had, though 8 months would be more than enough after that it would just be to keep the dust off in the garage.
Or I'll send Katie round to get them to clean out their guttering (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/rtfm.gif)

I notice a couple of spots of damaged (flaky) paint. It looks like a chemical reaction probably from bird shit infused moss..
Rather pissed off but these thing happen.
Any ideas on getting this fixed? It covers an area of about 2 x 20p coins overlapping.
I'm not going to get the entire bonnet resprayed because of it, has anyone used Chip's Away or similar for this kind of thing?
At the end of the day the paint work is of average condition for its age so I wouldn't be looking for an FBody finish.
Looking forward to getting her taxed and on the road in a month or so (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/beavisnbutthead.gif)
