Might book the Thursday off and spend the day in Camden.
(http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/chiny.gif) Not a bad idea.

If we did rock city it would lend itself to a stag weekend
Bit early for a stag weekend (especially if we're doing a joint one) and trying organise everyone that might want to go see The Wildhearts before the end of the week... not even sure my brothers can make it...
We need to sit down and have another planning session...maybe before we get to the 4th pint this time (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/lol.gif)
Besides I have to force Katie to go after making me go to a Robbie concert last year! (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/rtfm.gif) (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/tongue.gif)

Yeah, that's fine - It's just Titsy mentioned it earlier in the week so -
Anyway.
2 Tickets, then, please . . . . I'd prefer the London show (quicker and easier to get too - the tube station is literally opposite, from memory) . . plus there butt-loads of pubs in Camden serving good beers.
Quoting: Titsy
the beers would be a hell of a lot cheaper than that there nodnoL...
Camden's pretty good on price, TBH . . . not your "typical" London prices.

Are you still thinking of staying over?
We're now thinking of doing the same as Katie's attending / presenting a paper at the BAFA conference so may as well just book an extra night..
Did you have a Hotel in mind?
Quoting: Incursus
Are you still thinking of staying over?
Yup
We're aiming to get up there early-ish and do a bit of shopping.
We've booked the one night so will do a bit of wandering in Camden on the Friday and head back early evening.

Fair doos. Double the price of where we are looking (http://www.travelodge.co.uk/hotels/318/London-Central-Covent-Garden-hotel) about 10 minutes away on the tube but in walking distance of the conference so makes sense as Katie will be there most of the week.
£216 per night!!!!!!!! WTF
I've booked into the Travelodge @ Euston Station for £59 that far better (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/grin.gif)
its only a short walk or tube down the road

Was kinda looking forward to some sweet n sour rat/dog/cat from the vendors in the stables area . . . . But could do that on the Friday.
Less risky than spending the gig in the toilet (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/sick.gif) (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/tongue.gif)

They're actually really good in the market . . . I've eaten there a few times with no issues (yet).
Yeah always looks good, just been wanting to try out the Blues Kitchen for ages now and a big hearty meal should see us through till filth on the way home from the gig (http://www.mkb.cc/forum/smileys/lol.gif)
