Right guys...

Im planning on running the dyno day at Engine Advantages down in essex (just off the a12, dead easy to find)

It will  be the on Sunday 26th February at 9am

Costs will be  £30 per car run on the dyno.

So.. I need to limit to 30 cars really, with maybe 1 or 2 standby's incase someone cant make it..

The axle power limit of the dyno is 535hp so that may rule out some of you :( its your own fault :P

This invitation is open to other car clubs to so the list will have to be compiled on a first come first served basis.  If there are a lot of people who want to run, i may stretch the event over 2 weekends, that way everyone will get a run :D

Please only put your name down if you can definately come.  

If you post your interest in the day below I shall start the list compliation.

How (exactly) does it work ?

Obviously you sit on a Rolling Road, but what happens with regards to gear changing etc . . .

I assume it's to gain a max. Bhp figure, Yes ?

thy strap the car down to the dyno, and run it through the rev range in which ever is your 1:1 gear, so 4th usually in a manual on 3rd in an auto.

they run the car to the limiter then let it coast down..

you then get a pretty printout of power and torque

Just thinking that my gearbox, ahem, needs attention.

I Drive it, but I'm gentle.

It changes gear but with a crunch.

4 is/was O.k though.

RK, if theres a problem with the box they might not let you run it... and i probably wouldnt either..

Do they start off in 4th and go from there ?

Only in Fourth ?

Basically when i drive her I start in 2nd and shift straight to 4th.
5th comes witha little TLC . . .
