Nice.

BUT....

It isn't the last one made.

I have photos of the last one made (actual photos of it on the assembly line), and that isn't it.

It is red, but that's not the one...

I think you're reading it wrong...

I think he means it's the that year it was made...

"Remember this is the last 25th Anniversary Edition to be made"

To me that reads he means the actual last one off the line.

Nice GFX - but the car sits too high.

Why put on drag wheels like that when it appears to be running a stock 'train ?

Not bad - but nothing amazing . . .

I got in touch with the seller.

He *is* claiming it's the last one.

Thing is, I know the vin number of the last one and I know where it is (Iowa) and I know who has it (at least as of 2 weeks ago).

More likely just another ignorant seller, makes you wonder what we did before we had the power of an internet search

Yeah he says he has a letter that is alledgedly from the original supplying dealer stating it is what he claims.

I don't think he means to con anyone, he's only going by the info he's been given.

As long as he updates the listing now he's been told different I don't mind...

I saw a 4th gen a few years back that had Camero (with an 'e') in indented letters in the back bumper. It *looked* original, but I have no idea if it actually was.

I doubt it.

I'd ask on the Mustang forum if I were you, they're used to looking at the back of Camaro's...

Well I'm glad I sparked some controversy at least, and possibly even got the seller to lower his reserve a bit.

If it was the very last third gen Camaro, you'd think the owner would keep it stock and in a sealed bubble or something?

I posted this on thirdgen.org and they've been asking for the vin number etc but he seems to be ignoring their requests, only claiming his VIn number is higher than 70008.

If he hasn't changed his ad in the next day or so I'll report his listing as fraudulent as my initial feeling it was an honest mistake is being marred by his reluctance to see reason even when shown the evidence...

He has edited his listing:

"Please Note This Car is not the Last Chevrolet Camaro made .It is however a very late car in The third Generation production and a 25th Anniversary limited Edition. It is in stunning condition and I drove the car this morning for the first time and it drives superbly and go's like 5hit off a shovel.

The dash top has had a cover on from new and the interior is like a New Car.It would take very little work to turn this car into a show winner. Thanks for all your e-mail's."

Haha!

Still, bidding is up to £3,600
I'll be curious to see what it goes for...
