What planet is he on? More to the point is what planet was the guy who painted it on? Clearly couldn't make up his mind what direction to take

Obviously he doesn't understand the meaning of the word 'value'... If the paint was valued at £10k then he would have had to reduce the sale price below that... Just because something cost £10k to make look ugly doesn't mean it is worth that after the damage has been done...

If he keeps the £10k of paint and gives me the £1k difference then i'll take the car... Sounds like a fair deal to me...
