From an e-mail on Facebook...

Quoting: Sabotage
it seems our efforts have paid off, my bosses liked the friday night and ahead of schedule we will be closing the bar after this friday to start working on the place!

i have to say a massive thankyou to all the hundreds of you who have helped make the project possible by showing your love and support, we now will put plans together to work on some of the venues issues (ie random skanky toilets, dangerously slippery floors, etc...) and hope to re-open just before the easter holidays with much much more than just a friday night in an old abandoned restaurant to offer you lovely people!

this is where things can really start to get interesting, involving different promoters and clubbing all our heads together to create somewhere we will all want to be, not just on a friday, but throughout the week, and on a permanent basis!

please spread the word and also please please please get in touch with us with any ideas and comments.

from all at sabotage, much love and kisses xxx

Sweet, good news.

I just hope they don't over-cook it and spend too much . . . Once the initial interest is lost they'll have a hard time keeping the punters coming . . .

I hope they don't change the venue too much . . . I like the seating upstairs and think the decor is damn good.

(The toilets are skanky, though).

I agree, it had a sort of 'chill out lounge' feel to it although they could pipe in the same music that is being played downstairs, but at a lower volume.

Hell yeah, and with the shiny tiles downright dangerous (as they said)

I seem to remember Bar central was an old abandoned restaurant... it had a massive kitchen out the back.
