Thanks dude! Not so much for that video but the link. I think it was someone on here or the old aaci board who posted a video of their twin turbo engine in a Pontiac Le Manns and ive now found it again!

That Code Red engine does sound fierce though, loving to two tanks idea!

LOL @ the ARB off-road diff lock...    The diff had better be uber beefy with that thing turned on and the engine pushing out a thousand torques...

But seriously, wrap it, I'll take it!

Quoting: VIPER

Needs IRS as well........

definitely... actually scratch that, it needs a completely new chassis, that much power is way past what a mustang can handle..

as pirelli said, power is nothing without control.

meh... IRS is just more to break....

i bet it handles extreemly well, the new 2011GT handles bette around a track than the new M3 as some US mag tested.  And you know that the US mags ALWAYS prefer the german 'imports'

thats stretching it a bit....the M3 was faster (albeit only slighty, dispite having 100lbs / ft less torque) they also used words like 'confident' for the M3, and 'disconcerting' for the mustang.

1ST PLACE: BMW M3
Did you blink and miss the M3's onionskin advantage over the GT? Here's a hint: It's in the chassis, not underhood.

2ND PLACE: MUSTANG GT
Never has a loss felt so much like a win. From not once considered to full-blown contender, 5.0 officially puts the world on notice.

ok, so the new stang is a good dollop better than the 2005 model, but the fact the standard car is already held back by its chassis suggests adding more power really wont help.

More power always helps, what's wrong with you boy !!!

Personally, I spend more time on a roads and motorways than slinging any car round a track, so "punch" is where it's at for me, if I were a b road stormer then it maybe a different story.
