cant believe how much we get shafted on the cost of spirits in the UK, i have just cracked open a bottle of cutty sark (very nice scotch, virtualy impossible to find here)..

from eroski 9.99 euro's

only place i have found here that sells it wants £17,99 for a bottle.. (http://www.aaci-beds.co.uk/forum/smileys/mad.gif)

also picked up;

100 pipers
rare j&b
double V
and a couple of generics, such as bells and teachers..

and than dont include the 450 miles / 7hrs driving on tuesday for..........2 hrs installing a laptop .....

when in spain the other week, i found a 5 liter bottle of scotch for £20!!

You don't get Cutty Sark over there?

Actually, my fav is Pinch.  My aunts used to bring it when they came to visit and rather hard to find over here....and expensive when you do find it :(
